| One
of the oldest decorative techniques dating back to the 3rd Century Peking
Glass. Etching is done with sand blasting thru thin glass overlays. The
etched glass layers create a contrast in color. The hard work begins after
blowing the piece. These are limited production pieces, very personal
and highly collectible. |
These
pieces are spontaneously created at the workbench by combining different
colors of molten glass. Borrowing techniques from the Art Nouveau period
and combining then with contemporary innovations to create these one of
a kind art works. |
The
most contemporary innovation in glass making. This process entails painting
with ground glass mixed with oils. It starts with a blown egg shape then
the egg is painted, heated and encased in glass then blown to size. This
is the most painterly of glass and done on a limited basis. |
